You haven't truly experienced OCMD until you've done the "Boardwalk Crawl." These are the legendary staples located just a short walk south from the condo.
The Golden Rule: No ketchup allowed! Grab a bucket, douse them in cider vinegar and salt, and watch out for the seagulls.
A beach tradition since 1937. The Caramel is the classic, but the Old Bay popcorn is the local secret you have to try.
Old-school ice cream parlor vibes. Perfect for a sit-down sundae or a thick milkshake while you people-watch on the boards.
Don't skip Julia’s for artisanal Italian ice and cannolis, or Fractured Prune for hot, hand-dipped donuts made to order.
You are staying at one of the "sweet spots" of Ocean City. The beach at 8th Street is significantly wider than the downtown sections, giving your group plenty of room to spread out.
Look for the Blue Boxes on the sand at the 8th Street entrance. The beach attendants offer daily and weekly rentals for umbrellas and chairs—they'll even set them up for you!
Check the waves and the crowds before you leave the condo! The 8th Street camera gives you a real-time view of the sand and boardwalk.

The south end of the Boardwalk is where the "Soul of OC" lives. From vintage Skee-Ball to the historic carousel, this is where the evening comes alive.
A Boardwalk institution since the 1940s. It features a perfect mix of modern high-tech games and the vintage "crane" machines you remember from childhood.
Head all the way to the Inlet to find the big rides. The 1912 Herschell-Spillman Carousel is a must-see for a bit of history.
With the tram currently off the boards, bike hours are often extended! Rent some cruisers and ride the full length of the Boardwalk before the mid-day cutoff—it’s the best way to see the ocean.
When you're ready to step off the sand, Ocean City offers world-class entertainment from the historic Inlet to the high-tech midtown arcades.
The ultimate "Parents' Reward." While the kids are busy with the massive arcade and shark-tank bowling, you can enjoy a full-service bar and an upscale menu.
Our favorite spot for mini-golf. Because they have an indoor course, this is the absolute best "Rainy Day" insurance for your vacation.
Located at the southern end of the boardwalk, this museum is a hidden gem. Kids love the aquarium tanks and the shipwreck history. (Pro-Tip: Check for the morning tank feedings!)
Head to Jolly Roger at 30th Street for the full theme park experience—featuring Splash Mountain water park and the Speedworld go-kart tracks.
